About
James Chamberlain is a graduate student in the department of Political Science at the University of Washington. His main fields of study are political theory and public law, and among his current interests is the relationship between work and the intersecting oppressions of race, gender, and class in contemporary capitalist societies.
James holds a BA in French and Philosophy from the University of Bristol (UK), an MA in the Theory and Practice of Human Rights from the University of Essex (UK), and an MA in Political Science from the University of Washington (USA). Prior to coming to the University of Washington James worked for three years in English local government as a committee clerk and researcher.
